Rehabilitation of Ball valve

TEKUM successfully carries out the rehabilitation of various parts of hydro-mechanical equipment, with particular specialization in ball valves – pre-turbine closures for hydropower plants. The rehabilitation involves various technological processes: disassembly at the hydropower plant, transport to the TEKUM factory, disassembly in the factory, defect analysis after cleaning or sandblasting of parts (NDT, photogrammetric measurements, quality assessment of materials, etc.), proposal for the rehabilitation of damaged parts (build-up welding, machining, production of new parts), anti-corrosion protection, assembly in the factory, pressure and functional testing, delivery of completed components to the customer, assembly at the power plant, and commissioning. Successful rehabilitations and commissioning have been completed for several major hydropower plants in Croatia and Germany.
